Village Resort & Waterpark is well set on a hillside above the Cretan coast, within walking distance of Hersonissos. The hotel’s low-rise buildings are built up the slope, with tree-lined paths and grassed areas between them. There’s a choice of terraces where you can sit and relax with a drink from one of the poolside bars.

The hotel has a range of swimming pools. As well as the main outdoor pools, there are two children’s pools, water slides and a lazy river. You can have a more relaxed swim in the adults-only swimming pool, which is set on its own at the top of the hill.

There’s a buggy service on site so guests can have a lift up to the adult pool.

As well as the poolside bars, there’s a main bar in the hotel and a snack bar for kids serving food and fun soft drinks. There are two restaurants, offering a range of international cuisine. The resort has a gym and a spa (for guests over 16 only) where you can have a massage, and the hotel runs fitness classes. The family-focused resort holds regular entertainment suitable for all ages.

Star Beach is a short walk away, and the popular seaside resort of Hersonissos is also within walking distance of the hotel.
